However, it might be useful to provide a little
background for those who might be interested. So, read on if you are.
My name is Robert Weaver, most everyone calls me either
Bob or hey you. I prefer the former. I was born and raised in
Rupert, ID graduating from Minico High in 1964. That makes me 60 as I
write this, born in 1946. The day after graduation, with a hangover
still attached, I left for the Air Force and spent four years in a
combination of Texas, California and Montana. The last 3 1/2 years in
Montana.
I graduated from College at Weber State University (then
Weber State College) in Ogden, UT in May of 1970 and was hired by the
Federal Government right off the steps of the college. That's all that
will be said about work, this site if for play. After living in
California, Idaho, Virginia, California and Idaho I have now retired and
pretty do anything I want. A little computer repair work just keeps me
up to speed on the latest technology and spending money for the dogs.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's, while living in
rural Jerome, ID I got involved with raising Brittany Spaniels (yea, they
used to be called Brittany Spaniels but the Spaniel reference was removed
some years ago. Their official AKC name is just Brittany's no matter
what anyone wants to tell you.) This is also the time when I
started my freelance computer business which I named BrittanySoft
MicroSystems. While living in Jerome I raised and sold several
hundred registered Brittany's basically for $50 each with papers. Back
then it cost $2 to register your dog and the vet charged $3 a puppy to dock
their tails and give them a once over. Now it cost $30 to register the
dog and a vet won't let you in the door for less than $200. You figure
out why they are worth $300 and $400 apiece now.
